Purchase or sale of property to be used for residential purposes by a member with a buyer or seller of real estate or with a landlord or other landowner; a property dispute. 

Wills & Probate
Wills; estate planning; representation of a member who is named as an executor/ executrix, administrator/administratrix of an estate; guardianship. 

Elder Law
Medicaid; nursing home issues; Title XIX; asset protection; conservatorship; powers of attorney; incapacity planning.

Dissolution of Marriage & Family Law
Dissolution of marriage; separation; alimony; custody; child support; guardianships; name change; adoption; paternity.

Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice & Product Liability
Services for all negligence actions resulting in bodily injury, including automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip & fall, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and product liability.

Motor Vehicle & Criminal Defense
Charge of operating under the influence, reckless driving, or other offenses involving potential loss of license, financial liability or jail sentence; criminal law defense.

Business Transactions
Corporations, partnerships, & other legal entities; acquisitions, reorganizations, and mergers; security transactions and financing.

Land Use & Zoning
Zoning law and land use regulation issues (variances, inland & coastal wetland issues, development/subdivision issues, and eminent domain).

FEES

Consultations
Members are entitled to consult a Program Attorney for one-half (1/2) hour without charge twice a year in the areas of law listed. The consultation may be by phone or in person. 

Legal Services Fee
The rates for legal services are at a substantially reduced cost and will be supplied by the Initial Contact upon request. 

Initial Contact
If you may need legal services, your initial contact for the Program must be made through CASA’s Legal Counsel, Attorney John M. Gesmonde.

CASA membership will be verified.
